Lines of research:

• Search for sequences that allow the production of specific proteins in dopaminergic neurons that are affected in Parkinson's Disease to prevent or delay neuronal death and try to mitigate the symptoms of this disease.

• Study of hypoglycemic medications to measure their ability to prevent the death of dopaminergic neurons and reduce the inflammation that occurs in the brain during Parkinson's Disease and other diseases.
